The Brody School of Medicine
East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine is recognized nationally for its primary care emphasis. Recently, $250,000 was invested in the new East Carolina Heart Insitute as well. The institute offers the full range of cardiovascular care in one central site.
Also in conjunction with the Brody School of Medicine, Viadant Health operates an 851 bed tertiary care center. There are many specialty hospitals under Viadant Health.
