Humidification Steam humidification is available to parts of the facility.
Ventilation Central fan units circulate conditioned air throughout the manufacturing/warehouse areas.
Compressed Air System One (1) 200 h.p. and one (1) 75 h.p. air compressors serve the facility. 125 psi capacity.
Floor Drains Floor drains are located throughout the manufacturing areas.

Alarm Monitored by East Coast Security, Dictograph - burglar and fire
Sprinklers Four (4) wet sprinkler systems fed by 8" underground piping system which is supplied by a thousand (1000)-gallon per minute diesel booster fire pump rated at 85 psi. The fire pump takes suction from a 12" city water main line along US Highways 64/13.  Total water supply capacity to the sprinkler systems and fire hydrants around building = approx. 1000 gpm at 130 psi.

Sewer Supplied by Town of Robersonville

8" line from building sanitary sewer to treatment system. 6" line from mechanical equipment room to treatment system. Pumped from treatment system to city sewer.

  Recent Improvements

  

  1. Office areas have been completely refurbished. New carpets, vinyl tile, 4" cove base molding. Two new office units added. new wallpaper and paint. Replaced all office lighting and upgraded emergency lighting. Replaced toilet and urinal partitions. New sinks, faucets, shut-off valves and countertops. Repaired heating and air conditioning systems. Repaired HVAC controls. New office furniture and partitions.

  2. Replaced and rewired front office outside lights and parking lot lights.

  3. Painted approximately 80,000 square feet of plant area ceiling with white paint.

  4. Refurbished plant fluorescent lighting and pressure washed all shades.

  5. Replaced 3/4 of warehouse lighting with 400 watt high pressure sodium high bay fixtures.

  6. Enclosed 4,700 square foot area in warehouse with concrete block from floor to ceiling.

  7. Installed SQ DI Line 400 amp 480V bus duct. (Approx. 120 feet of duct)

  8. Major repairs on large chiller valves, control system and cooling tower. Chiller converted to R-134 refrigerant and charged with 600 lbs. of freon. Added oil cooler and changed compressor oil.

  9. Two air compressors have been serviced and oil filters changed. Replaced small air compressor for HVAC system.

  10. Replaced roof ventilator motors and belts.

  11. Major build up of rear access road and drainage system.

  12. Completely rebuilt employee break room. New ceiling tile, floor tile, drywall, lights, paint, moldings and doors.

  13. Built new plant production office approx. 1600 square feet with separate 5 ton heat pump.

  14. Shipping office and first aid station were painted, new lights and floor tile.

  15. Plant restrooms have new toilets and urinal partitions, sinks, faucets, countertops and shut off valves.
